In food production: batch weighing and price marking with direct hand-over to the inventory-management system. In logistics: dispatch scales whose weights flow automatically into the shipping system and freight documents. Interfaces, connection and integration

Bizerba terminals and checkweighers communicate via RS232, Ethernet TCP/IP, USB and – depending on the device – OPC UA, Profinet or Bizerba's own protocols; retail scales exchange article and sales data via Bizerba interfaces or file export. We transfer weight, status, tare and alibi number into ERP, MES or inventory management, synchronise article master data to the scale and the labeller and evaluate checkweigher statistics on a batch basis. Existing Bizerba software solutions we supplement wherever interfaces to your other systems are missing.

Frequently asked questions

We already use Bizerba software – can you complement it?

Yes. Often it's not about replacement but about the missing link: the export into your ERP, an analysis, a special process. We build exactly the piece that's missing.

Does this work with verified trade scales?

Yes, the legal-for-trade requirements remain untouched; the data transfer runs in parallel and tamper-proof in line with verification law.

What about older Bizerba devices?

We also connect legacy devices with a serial interface – that is usually far more economical than a replacement.

Is there a Bizerba software interface to our ERP, or do we need a custom solution?

Bizerba offers standard interfaces and data exports for many devices. If your ERP or inventory management system is not among them, or if the process deviates from the norm, we build the bridge: article master data to the scale, weighings and label data back into the ERP – bidirectional and logged.

Can you use data from Bizerba checkweighers for our batch documentation?

Yes. Checkweighers such as the CWM or CWL deliver individual weights and statistics via Ethernet. We assign them to the current batch, calculate mean value, spread and reject rate and make the data available for MES, QA and the prepackaging regulations.
