The right route depends on your SAP landscape. On S/4HANA and ECC we work with REST/OData services or classic RFC/IDoc methods; on SAP Business One with the DI API. Where direct access is not wanted, we hand over via an intermediate database or file interface that your SAP team reads in under its own control. The scale side – reading out, plausibility checks, buffering on connection loss – we handle completely; the hand-off we define together with your SAP support.
For the textbook case there are standard products. In practice they fail on the details: a scale from a different manufacturer, a special goods-receipt process, your own label layout, legal-for-trade weighing with a mandatory Alibi memory. We build the integration that fits your process – not the other way round.
