What we do for Systec users
- Read out IT-series terminals – continuously and stably in round-the-clock operation
- Vehicle-scale processing: first/second weighing, weighing tickets, master data
- Integration with ERP, inventory management, PLC or databases
- Alibi-memory referencing for legal-for-trade processes
- Add self-service, licence-plate recognition and barrier control
Supported devices and series
Systec terminals we regularly connect:
- IT1000 / IT3000A: compact terminals for platform and floor scales, weight polling and simple weighing
- IT4000 / IT6000: terminals with counting, checkweighing, dosing and recipe programs, alibi memory, fieldbus options
- IT8000E: terminal with large display for weighbridges, inbound/outbound weighing and multi-scale operation
- Weighing electronics in the control cabinet: Systec evaluation units integrated into the plant via the PLC
Interfaces, connection and integration
Systec terminals offer RS232/RS422/RS485, Ethernet and USB, optionally Profibus DP, Profinet, EtherNet/IP and Modbus as well as digital inputs/outputs. We read out weight, status and alibi number, control tare and program sequences from the software, generate weighing tickets and batch records and post weighings to ERP or MES. If the terminal is already running a Systec application program (filling, recipe batching, weighbridge), we connect to its data output rather than building the processes twice.
Frequently asked questions
Our IT terminal runs on a vehicle scale – what does software add?
The complete processing: driver self-service, automatic weighing tickets, ERP posting, analyses. 4 minutes per truck becomes 90 seconds.
Can several terminals be managed centrally?
Yes – several scales and sites run together in one application with central master-data maintenance.
Does your software replace the terminal firmware?
No, it complements it: the terminal weighs, our software processes – cleanly separated, uncritical under verification law.
Can you connect a Systec IT3000 or IT6000 to our ERP?
Yes. The terminals output weight and status via the serial or network interface. Our software adds the order, article or batch and posts the weighing to SAP, Dynamics, proALPHA or your custom system.
Our Systec IT8000E controls the weighbridge – what does additional software add?
The terminal handles the weighing, our software the process around it: vehicle registration and customer master data, weighing ticket with alibi number, self-service at the terminal, handover to invoicing and the waste disposal record. The terminal stays exactly as it is.
