How we proceed
We analyse where the weighing values originate today – in the terminal, in the Siwarex module, in the PLC – and define the hand-over point with your maintenance team or automation engineer. Then we build the software on top: capture with time stamp and batch reference, buffering during network outages, plausibility checks and forwarding to the target systems. Your plant's control logic remains untouched – we read along instead of intervening, unless your process demands otherwise.

Frequently asked questions
Does the PLC have to be reprogrammed for this?
Usually not, or only minimally – often it is enough to make existing data blocks readable via OPC UA or S7 communication. We coordinate that with your automation engineer.
What about legal-for-trade weighings in the plant?
In that case we route the legally relevant values through the approved terminal or the Alibi memory and document them tamper-proof in line with verification law; the PLC values serve process control.
Do you also support older plants without Ethernet?
Yes – via serial couplings, gateways or retrofits. The plant doesn't have to be modernised for this.
