Interfaces, connection and integration

Radwag scales offer RS232 and USB, many models Ethernet and Wi-Fi; PUE terminals additionally Profibus, Profinet, Modbus RTU/TCP and digital I/O. We use the Radwag communication protocol for weight polling, stability detection, tare and zeroing, transfer weigh-in values with sample ID or batch into LIMS, ERP (e.g. Odoo, SAP), Excel or a database, and evaluate the alibi memory in legal-for-trade applications. Where Radwag E2R is already running, we add the interfaces to your systems that it lacks.

Frequently asked questions

Can a Radwag analytical balance be connected to our LIMS?

Yes. Radwag analytical and precision balances – for instance from the AS and PS series – offer serial, USB or network interfaces depending on the model. We provide the software that transfers readings directly and traceably into your LIMS or quality documentation.

Do you also handle projects with sites in Poland?

Yes. We also handle Polish-language projects – from coordinating with colleagues at the Polish site to a multilingual user interface. With Radwag being a Polish manufacturer, that is often an advantage.

Does your software replace the Radwag manufacturer programs?

Not necessarily. Often we specifically add what is missing: the hand-over to your ERP, a special analysis or a process step that standard software doesn't cover.

Can you connect Radwag laboratory balances to our LIMS – even with a Polish-speaking team?

Yes. Via the Radwag interface we read out the weigh-in value once the reading is stable and pass it on with the sample ID to the LIMS. We deliver the user interface and reports bilingually, and project coordination can be conducted in German or Polish.

We have a Radwag PUE 7.1 terminal on a production scale – can it be integrated into our ERP?

Yes. The PUE 7.1 delivers weight, status and alibi number via Ethernet or fieldbus. Our software adds order, article and batch and posts the weighing to the ERP – with feedback to the terminal if required.
