- Integrate platform scales into goods receipt, production and dispatch
- Implement batch and order weighing with guided operator dialogues
- Archive weighing logs and make them analysable – supports tamper-proof archiving in line with GoBD
- Unite Rhewa devices with scales from other manufacturers in one solution
Supported devices and series
Rhewa devices we regularly connect:
- Rhewa 82plus: compact terminal on platform, floor and pallet scales – weight polling, counting, checkweighing
- Rhewa 83plus / 83z: terminals with application programs for dosing, recipe batching and batch weighing
- Rhewa 84 / 84plus: terminals for weighbridges and multi-scale operation with weighing ticket and self-service
- Rhewa platform scales, floor scales and weighbridges as well as load cells and evaluation electronics on special-purpose installations
Typical areas of use
In the SMEs of the Bergisches Land and far beyond: weighing terminals on platform scales in goods receipt whose values are still read off and copied into forms today. Production scales whose batch weights are missing from traceability. Dispatch stations where the weight is recorded twice. In all these cases, a precisely fitting software connection replaces the manual intermediate step – and makes the data available in the leading system immediately.
Interfaces, connection and integration
Rhewa terminals offer RS232/RS485, Ethernet and USB and, depending on the model, Profibus or Profinet as well as digital inputs/outputs and an alibi memory. We read out weight, status and alibi number, control tare and program sequences from the software, generate weighing tickets and batch records and post weighings to ERP or invoicing. As Rhewa and we are close neighbours, we coordinate directly with the Rhewa service team or your scale builder where needed – verification and mechanics stay with them, software and data flows with us.
Frequently asked questions
Can a Rhewa weighing terminal be connected to our ERP system?
Yes. Depending on the version, Rhewa weighing terminals offer serial or network interfaces. We provide the software that transfers weighing data from the terminal automatically into your ERP, production control or database – tailored to your process.
You're based in Wuppertal – do you also come to us on site?
Gladly. Rhewa is headquartered in Mettmann, right in our neighbourhood – and there are correspondingly many Rhewa users in the region. For equipment surveys, commissioning and tests we can be with you quickly in the Bergisches Land and surroundings.
Does our scale remain fit for verification?
Yes. Our software reads out the weighing data without touching the legal-for-trade measuring chain – the legal-for-trade properties of your scale remain unaffected.
Can you connect a Rhewa 82plus or 83z terminal to our ERP?
Yes. The terminals output weight and status via a serial link or Ethernet. Our software adds the order, article or batch and posts the weighing to proALPHA, SAP, abas or your custom system – without touching the terminal or its verification.
Our Rhewa weighbridge runs with the Rhewa 84 terminal – what does your software add?
The terminal handles the weighing, our software the process around it: vehicle registration and customer master data, weighing ticket with alibi number, self-service terminal for drivers, handover to invoicing and the waste disposal record, and reports across all weighings.
